The "Health Innovation Center" at National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University focuses on Microbiota-related diseases as its core research area, particularly targeting digestive system cancers, metabolic syndrome, and rare metabolic disorders in children. It aims to develop personalized precision health as its core concept, integrating Microbiota, genomics, omics, phenomics, environmental factors, and wearable device data. The center aims to develop personalized disease prediction models and intervention strategies. The establishment of the "Health Innovation Center" aims to create an internationally renowned health innovation hub that connects industry, government, academia, and research, facilitating the translation and value-added application of health innovation research. The research teams are divided into three groups: Microbiota, Big Data and Omics, and Smart Healthcare. They work on different aspects such as basic research, clinical research, and population studies to construct disease prediction and prevention methods. Practical translational research in the field of health care is then conducted to effectively promote the application and implementation of research outcomes.
